What you'll do

As a Data Analyst at Harlem Next you have a high number of data sources that can be mined from our high traffic web applications. The Data & Analytics team (4 colleagues ) act like a team of advisors, who ultimately help the company to improve; lifetime values, platform efficiency, margin optimisation and user behaviour.

This isn’t the kind of job where you produce reports or analyses that no one reads or cares about. In this dynamic, you combine your analyzing- and advising skills and you’ll work closely with stakeholders across the product organisation to set up proof of concepts and data analyses. You develop and design the way of how we will use our data insights in the future.

Your responsibilities as our Data Analyst:

• Data collection and preparation: Gather and clean data from multiple sources, ensuring its accuracy and completeness.

• Data analysis: Utilize statistical and analytical methods to examine data, identify patterns, trends, and correlations using tools like SQL, Python, and R.

• Reporting and visualization: Create compelling reports, dashboards, and visualizations using tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI to communicate key insights.

• Business insights: Interpret analytical results to provide actionable insights to stakeholders, aiding in process optimization, product improvement, and business opportunity identification.

• Performance monitoring: Continuously monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and data quality to ensure data integrity and promptly address any anomalies.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with teams in product management, marketing, and engineering to understand their data needs and support their initiatives.

• Process improvement: Recommend and implement enhancements in data collection, analysis, and reporting processes to boost efficiency and accuracy.

Job requirements for our Data analyst

• HBO level or higher, with 3-5 years of work experience in data analysis, generating insights, and visualizing data using tools like Looker, Tableau, SQL, SPSS, Python, or R.

• Strong attention to detail, cooperation, focus on quality, insight, learning ability, listening, problem analysis and result-orientedness.

• Highly self-motivated, open-minded, excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, collaborative yet able to work independently, and capable of prioritizing and meeting business deadlines.

• A good standard of English, both written and spoken. Dutch is a plus.

• Salary indication: €4020 - €4880 gross per month, based on experience.
